At Jump Around VA, your safety is our top priority. We are committed to providing clean, well-maintained, and safe inflatable rentals for all events. To ensure a fun and secure experience, please adhere to the following safety guidelines.
General Safety Guidelines
Supervision: Always have a responsible adult supervising the inflatable while in use.
Occupancy Limits: Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended occupancy and weight limits. Typically, this means a maximum of 6 children for medium bounce houses, 8-10 children for large bounce houses, and more for larger rentals.
Age and Size Separation: Group children of similar ages and sizes together to prevent injuries.
Prohibited Items: Remove shoes, jewelry, eyeglasses, and any sharp objects before entering. No food, drinks, pets, or toys are allowed inside the inflatable.
Behavior: No flips, somersaults, roughhousing, or climbing on the walls or netting.
Weather Conditions: Do not use inflatables during high winds (over 15 mph) or rain. If inclement weather is forecasted, contact us at least 48 hours in advance to discuss rescheduling options.
Slide and Obstacle Course Safety
One at a Time: Only one person should climb and slide at a time per lane.
Proper Sliding: Always slide feet first, sitting on your bottom or back.
No Lap Riding: Children should never slide on someone else’s lap to prevent injuries.
Clear Landing Area: Ensure the landing area is clear before the next person slides.Having Safe Fun with Bounce House Party

Supervision: Constant adult supervision is required.Tips for a Bounce House Party for crowds
No Standing Water: Jump Around VA has discontinued inflatables with pools to eliminate drowning hazards. Current water units feature splash pads that do not accumulate water.
Dunk Tank Safety
Adult Use Only: Only adults should sit on the dunk tank seat. Dunk Tank
Supervision: Never leave the dunk tank unattended while filled with water.
Safety Perimeter: Establish a safety zone around the tank to protect bystanders from errant throws.
Stable Setup: Do not place the dunk tank on platforms or stages. Ensure it’s on a flat surface away from electrical sources.
Setup and Equipment Guidelines
Surface Requirements: Inflatables can be set up on grass, concrete, asphalt, or indoors. Please inform us of the setup surface in advance. Note: Additional charges may apply for non-grass surfaces due to the need for sandbag anchoring.
Electrical Needs: A standard 110V outlet within 50 feet is required. We provide necessary extension cords and blowers. Generators are available for rent if needed. Jump Around Virginia Bounce House Tips
