Bounce House Rentals in Fairfax, VA

Bounce Houses, Combos, Water Slides and Obstacle Courses for Fairfax Parties

Our Fairfax fleet covers every age group and every kind of party. Classic bounce houses suit toddlers through elementary age and fit most Fairfax County backyards, including the tighter lots in Annandale and Bailey’s Crossroads. Combo units add a slide and a basketball hoop for older kids who lose interest in a plain bouncer after twenty minutes. Water slides are the summer favorite, and the double-lane units run two racers at once, which cuts the line in half at a birthday party. Obstacle courses work best for schools, youth groups and corporate family days where you need forty kids moving at the same time, and dry slides give you the height without the hose if your yard has no spigot within reach.

If you are planning something larger than a backyard party, our event attractions range covers mechanical bulls, trackless trains and interactive games, and the party equipment catalog handles the tables, chairs and sound systems that a Fairfax school carnival or church festival needs alongside the inflatables.

What a Fairfax Bounce House Rental Costs

Bounce houses start at $225 for the day. Combos with a slide run $239, obstacle courses $269, and water slides $339. Those are full-day rates, not hourly blocks, and delivery, setup, takedown and sanitizing are all included inside Fairfax County — no fuel surcharge for the drive up I-66 or the Fairfax County Parkway, and no separate setup fee added at the door.

What is included in the price

The rate covers the unit, delivery to your address, full setup and anchoring, takedown at the end of the day, and cleaning and sanitizing between every rental. What it does not cover is a generator if your site has no power, which is a common add-on for park bookings — see the permit section below. Full terms are on our FAQ page, and if your event falls outside a standard backyard setup, tell us what you are planning and we will quote it properly rather than guess.

Free Delivery and Setup Across Fairfax County

We deliver across the whole county at no extra charge: Fairfax City, Annandale, Burke, Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton, Dunn Loring, Vienna, Oakton, Great Falls, McLean, Herndon, Reston, Tysons, Springfield, Lorton, Bailey’s Crossroads and Mount Vernon. Our crew arrives ahead of your start time, anchors the unit, walks you through the safety rules and comes back at the end of the day to pack it down.

If your event is just outside the county line, we cover the surrounding region too — see our Alexandria, Arlington, Loudoun County and Manassas pages, or check the full delivery area map to confirm your address.

Moon Bounce Permits in Fairfax County Parks: What You Actually Need

The $25 special use permit

Fairfax County Park Authority requires special permission for a moon bounce at a reserved picnic area, and there is a non-refundable $25 permission fee per inflatable device. You request it as part of your picnic reservation  on the online booking there is a checkbox for the moon bounce special use permit, and on the paper application it goes in the same section. Reservation staff review the request and contact you to confirm approval or denial; if it is denied, you are not charged.

Not every park allows inflatables

Some Fairfax County parks do not permit them at all, and the ones that do cap how many. Before you book us, open the reservable area page for your specific park and look for the line reading “Inflatables” with a maximum number and the $25 permission fee. If that line is not there, pick a different site. We would rather you find that out now than on the morning of the party.

 Power and the 6,000-watt limit

County parks do not supply power or equipment, so you are bringing a generator, and Fairfax County caps generators at under 6,000 watts. Every unit we rent runs comfortably inside that limit, and we can supply a compliant generator with your booking — ask when you reserve, because it needs to go on the order rather than be arranged on the day.

Why Fairfax Families Choose Jump Around VA

More than a thousand Virginia families have booked with us, and the reason most give is that the price they were quoted is the price they paid. Units arrive clean, on time and set up before guests do. We carry full liability insurance, our staff are trained on anchoring and wind limits, and we monitor the forecast so you are not left guessing on the morning. If the weather turns, our rain policy lets you reschedule rather than lose the booking.

How Much Space You Need in a Fairfax Backyard

Measure before you book. A standard bounce house needs roughly 15 by 15 feet of flat ground plus about three feet of clearance on every side and around 16 feet of overhead room, which rules out spots under low branches or a deck overhang. Combos and water slides need more length — usually 30 to 35 feet — and a water slide needs a hose connection and somewhere for the runoff to drain that is not your neighbor’s patio.

We set up on grass wherever possible because stakes anchor better than sandbags. If your only flat area is a driveway or a paved patio, tell us when you book so the crew brings ballast. Access matters too: our team needs a gate or a path at least four feet wide to get the unit into the yard, which is worth checking on the older lots in Vienna and Falls Church where side gates run narrow. If you are unsure whether your space works, send us a photo of the yard and we will tell you what fits.

Rentals for Fairfax Schools, Churches, HOAs and Corporate Family Days

We handle field days, fall festivals, church picnics, HOA pool-closing parties and company family days across Fairfax County, and those bookings work differently from a birthday party. They need a certificate of insurance naming the school or venue, they usually need multiple units running at once, and they need a crew that can stage a setup around a schedule rather than a start time. Send us the venue’s insurance requirements early — the paperwork, not the equipment, is what delays these bookings.

For larger county events, most organizers pair inflatables with the attractions and games that keep the older age groups occupied. If you are working out what mix of units suits your headcount, our guide to the benefits of adding a jumpy house to a party covers the planning side, and the Virginia bounce house rental guide walks through booking timelines across the state.

Fairfax Bounce House Rental FAQs

How much do bounce house rentals cost in Fairfax, VA?

Bounce house rentals in Fairfax start at $225 per day, combos at $239, obstacle courses at $269 and water slides at $339. Delivery, setup, takedown and sanitising are all included inside Fairfax County — there is no mileage charge and no separate setup fee. Weekday and multi-unit bookings are discounted.

Every Fairfax rental includes free delivery, setup, anchoring, a safety walkthrough and takedown after your event. We sanitise each unit between bookings and arrive before your guests do. You supply a flat surface and a power outlet within 100 feet; we bring everything else, including stakes or sandbags.

Most bounce houses need a flat area of roughly 20 by 20 feet, plus four feet of clearance on every side and at least 16 feet overhead — no low branches, power lines or gutters. Grass is ideal. Concrete and asphalt work too, but need sandbags instead of stakes.

Most Fairfax homes already have what we need: a standard 110-volt outlet within 100 feet of the setup area. Public parks usually do not, so park bookings normally include one of our generators. Tell us the venue when you book and we will confirm which applies before delivery.

Fairfax County may require a permit and an inspection for inflatables at public events such as school fairs, church festivals and community days. Private events on your own property do not. We hold current Virginia inspection certificates for our fleet and supply the documentation your permit application needs.

Book two to four weeks ahead for a summer Saturday in Fairfax. June through August weekends are our busiest and the popular water slides go first. Weekday and off-season events often have same-week availability. You can reserve online any time or call us for a same-day check.
